Continuing my recovery from WUU2K by taking it nice and easy. Hit the trails up to Makara Peak, not a long run but tried to push it a bit up Varley’s Track. I still don’t like running Wahine uphill, but I hit a segment PB on the way down. Kept running basically the whole way up from Makara Carpark to Peak, but didn’t set a PB. Good indication that walking can sometimes be faster than running, huh? Did some household props exercises afterwards for the first time.
Feeling a twinge in the left knee still.
Distance 7.03, time 49:54, pace 7:06m/km, mostly trails, hills. Nice sunny day but cold, conditions good. Few bikes out there but only passed one.
